OF ALGIERS

2015 Jazz Fest raised over $15000 with our drink concession which is manned by Algiers Kiwanis Club volunteers.  This is the biggest fundraiser of the year.  100% of this money goes to local charities.

Where and when do we meet?
Thursday mornings from 7 - 8 am at Aurora Swim & Tennis Club, 5244 General Meyer Ave.  Coffee, donuts & fellowship are abundant & free!  On the third Thursday of each month our meeting is from
6 - 7 PM, instead of the morning!  This has attracted potential members who find it difficult
to attend the early morning meetings.

What happens at a typical meeting?
Meetings open with the singing of "America the Beautiful", the "Pledge of Allegiance" and a prayer.
After introductions and announcements the guest speaker is introduced.  Louisiana Representatives Jeff Arnold & Chris Leopold will speak 3-12-15  We adjourn promptly at 8 am.

How much does it cost you?

Dues of $15 per month include continental breakfast, social functions, and International/District dues.
